Football: FCF says goodbye to Ricardo Gomes and wished him “good luck” in his professional and personal career

The Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF) confirmed today that footballer Ricardo Gomes has decided to leave the hotel where the Blue Sharks training which takes place in Mindelo, and wished him “good luck” in his professional and personal career.

In a statement, FCF stated that the footballer, after his integration into the national team training in Douala (Cameroon), informed the medical team and the technical team he was injured, having undergone conditioning training, in the only training he was present before the first match.

Similarly, Ricardo Gomes, pointed out the same source, informed the medical and technical staff that he would not be in physical condition to participate in the match, not even to be included in the game sheet as a substitute for the match with the Central African Republic, in September 1. The national team arrived in São Vicente on Thursday night, the 2nd, and made the first training at the Adérito Sena Stadium, with Ricardo Gomes performing a recovery training along with the players who were starting against the Central African Republic, as he was still recovering from the injury prevented him from participating in the match of the 1st round.
