The national football coach, Pedro Leitão “Bubista”, will accompany, in Mauritania, the qualifying matches for the African U-17 Championship, as a member of the technical studies group of the African Football Confederation (CAF).
According to the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF), the technical study group’s mission is to analyze the game model of the various teams, in addition to choosing the best players of each game, in order to, at the end prepare the respective technical report of the competition.
This is the second time CAF has appointed Bubista to the aforementioned study group, the first being, when the Champions League was held in women’s, last year in São Vicente.
The Cabo Verdean U-17 football team participates in this competition that takes place in Mauritania from October 1 to 9.
