The Government, through the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Spatial Planning (MIHOT) proceeded Wednesday to deliver plots of land of 200 square meters to 39 families from Chã das Caldeiras for construction of their own house.
The Councilman of Social Action and Infrastructure at the City Hall of Santa Catarina do Fogo, Carlos Rodrigues, said that the folder containing documents of the plot of land of 200 square meters, delivered on Wednesday, also contains the location plan, the architectural project and cadastral certificate, as well as the justification of transfer of 20 percent of the total amount to be made available by the Government as support for the construction.
The architectural project includes three typologies and each beneficiary is free to choose the typology he/she want, but the Councilman said that all of them are 3 room apartments (T3) with an area of 200 square meters, with the same façade, but with internal difference.
Next Wednesday, the 28, the City Hall of Santa Catarina, through its Technical Office will make the delivery and implementation of plot of land to allow the begining of construction.
The Government provides each of the 39 families with financial support of 500 thousand escudos, distributed in installments, having already transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries the amount of 100.000 escudos, corresponding to 20 percent (%) and the remaining part by submitting justifications.
