The first edition of the International Exhibition of Companies of the Diaspora takes place from April 23 to 24 in Paris, France, under the motto “Ka nu skeci nós origem” and aims to promote Cape Verdean companies in the diaspora.
The announcement was made by the promoter of “Ka nu skeci nos origin” (Let’s not forget our origin, in Portuguese), Dina Mendes, this afternoon, in Praia city, during the public presentation of the project, where she explained that the idea came after facing some difficulties at a time when she was in Cape Verde to make investments.
According to her, the information provided did not match the reality of the country, and from there she began to think about how to create an event that would allow her to be the spokesperson for the entire Cape Verdean diaspora.
Dina Mendes said that the first edition of the International Exhibition of Diaspora Companies takes place on April 22 and 23, in Paris, and aims to be an annual meeting point for greater promotion of diaspora companies at national and international level, taking into account the immense Cape Verdean diaspora.
