The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has written to the Conciliation and Arbitration Chamber of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Cameroon (CNOSC), in response to the suspension placed on the national team staff appointed by the federation. The arbitration chamber had sent a document earlier on Tuesday, May 21, following a meeting which was held to decide on the FECAFOOT-appointed staff after complaints filed by the association of amateur club presidents and other critics of the Eto'o-led federation. The federation has noted in its reply that the suspension which violates the legal provisions in place, can only result in the immediate suspension of Marc Brys and his staff including all members appointed by the sports minister. FECAFOOT says it reserves the right to file a complaint to FIFA, as the decisions taken 'hinder the preparation process for the forthcoming sports events'. Cameroon has to play against Cape Verde and Angola in June, for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Source: Cameroon News Agency
