A clandestine operation manufacturing counterfeit drugs has been uncovered in the Tsegwoué neighborhood of Mbouda, West region. Customs officials, led by Mr. Sadou Oumarou, made the startling discovery during a recent crackdown on illegal activities. The illicit factory was found to be producing fake injections and altering expiration dates on a range of pharmaceutical products. The scale of the operation suggests a significant threat to public health. Authorities have launched a manhunt for the primary suspect, Herve, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the counterfeit drug ring. The Senior Divisional Officer for the rBamboutos described the operation as a 'death industry' aimed at harming Cameroonians.
