By Charity Nginyu Ebodje, a locality located a few kilometers to Kribi in the South region of Cameroon has been left in shock following the arrest of a man over the murder of his partner. According to reports, it all started when 28-year-old Miss Marie Kongwe decided to settle in the said village with her partner, identified as Fabrice. Sources indicate that the lady endured regular beatings, torture, and humiliation at the hands of her partner, who allegedly sought to send her away from the village. Marie's resistance to leaving the village reportedly led to a fatal outcome. Two days ago, her lifeless body was discovered, her throat cruelly slit by her partner, who subsequently fled the scene. However, law enforcement agencies acted swiftly, apprehending the suspect yesterday Monday May 13, with the assistance of local gendarmes. Source: Cameroon News Agency
