Ten cyclists from Santo Antão, São Vicente and São Nicolau participate today in the traditional São Silvestre 2022 race, in Porto Novo, in an initiative of the city council of Porto Novo and the cycling association of the sports region.
The representative of the Santo Antão Sul Regional Cycling Association, José Pinto, informed that in addition to the São Silvestre race, the organization will take the opportunity to deliver certificates of recognition to some institutions for the “precious contribution” made towards the development of cycling in the region.
“Without the precious contribution of our partners, the materialization of our project for the year that is coming to an end would be almost impossible”, advanced the same source, for whom thanks to the partnership mobilized in 2022 by the association it was possible to “put into practice” several competitions, with emphasis on the regional championship.
Inforpress is among the group of institutions that Santo Antão Sul Regional Cycling Association highlighted today, including the City Hall of Porto Novo, the National Police, the Porto Novo Volunteer Firefighters, Radio and television of Cabo Verde and the Cabo Verdean Cycling Federation, among others.
