Cape Verdean singer Cremilda Medina, resident in Portugal, performs this Saturday, 12, at the Sunrise room, in Galvanistraat, Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, accompanied by some guest artists.
“After participating in June as a guest artist in the first edition of TMC International, a project that values and promotes the discovery of new artists in Cape Verdean music, Cremilda Medina returns to Rotterdam, this time for a full concert”, explains the agency representing the artist.
The concert will feature some guest artists, such as Kim Petite with jazzy modern music, Maysa Pinheiro with the first single “Ilha de Las Mayeas” and Jovino dos Santos who arrives from Paris.
According to the same source, while preparing her new album, Cremilda Medina takes to “the country of tulips” the sounds of her first album “Folklore”, where there will be no shortage of themes such as “Raio de Sol”, “Sonho dum Criola” or “Nha Juquina”.
