Covid-19: Cape Verde registers two new cases and 14 recovered in the last 24 hours

Cape Verde recorded two more new cases of covid-19 and 14 recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the country to a total of 108 actives infections.

According to an epidemiological bulletin released this afternoon by the Ministry of Health, of the total of 18 samples analyzed, two positive cases were reported, both in Ribeira Brava, São Nicolau.

The positivity rate stood at 11.1 percent (%) and with the data update, the country now has 108 active cases, of which 28 in Praia, one in Ribeira Grande de Santiago, six in Santa Catarina, three in Mosteiros, ten in Ribeira Grande, five in Paul, six in Porto Novo, nine in São Vicente, four in Sal, nine in Ribeira Brava, 24 in Boa Vista, and three in Maio.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Cape Verde has registered a total of 63,078 accumulated positive cases, of which 62,491 were declared recovered, with the country registering 412 deaths, 46 deaths from other causes.
