CNDHC advocates more financial resources in the effective implementation of the 2nd National Plan for Human Rights and Citizenship

The president of the National Commission for Human Rights and Citizenship (CNDHC) defended Thursday more resources so that the measures in the second National Plan for Human Rights and Citizenship are effectively disseminated and implemented.

 

Zaida de Freitas was speaking to the press, on the sidelines of the 56th plenary session of the CNDHC, which aimed to present the activity reports of CNDHC 2021, the National Prevention Mechanism (MNP)2021, report on the implementation of the 2nd National Action Plan for Human Rights and Citizenship (II PNADHC).

 

According to this responsible, the plan is not yet widely disseminated internally at the level of the institutions and not all sectors have appropriated this plan, which as she recalled, is a CNDHC’s proposal, but the measures should be implemented by all Government sectors.

 

In this sense, she advocated greater dissemination and engagement of sectoral plans with the 2nd National Plan of Action for Human Rights and Citizenship and allocation of more financial resources so that the measures are effectively implemented.
