The City Hall of Santa Cruz opens, in Cancelo, a music school and library, a long-standing demand on residents from this location of this municipality in the countryside of Santiago.
The two social equipment, installed in a refurbished building by the City Hall of Santa Cruz, according to the Councilwoman for Economic and Social Development, Social Housing, Administration and Finance, Jamira Duarte, will make literature and music “gain new life” in Cancelo.
The music school, as she explained, is an extension of the Séma Lopi Music School, based in Pedra Badejo, which also has a center in Achada Fazenda.
It is equipped with several musical instruments, including drums, piano, guitar, violin and flute, among others, she assured.
