City Hall of Ribeira Brava inaugurates urban requalification works in Belém

The City Hall of Ribeira Brava inaugurated this Thursday the urban requalification works in the locality of Belém, a project that aims to guarantee improvement of conditions and quality of life of the residents.

Speaking to Inforpress, after the inauguration, the mayor of Ribeira Brava, José Martins, assured that it is the fulfillment of “a commitment” assumed with the local population.

“Like the work carried out in other locations, the objective is to make the areas more attractive and attract investment from residents, emigrants and other businessmen,” he said.

According to the mayor, the project cost around seven thousand escudos, using the program to mitigate the bad agricultural year “which was translated into jobs in the urban requalification aspect”.
