Referee Lenin Rocha and assistant Aritson Fonseca, from South Santo Antão, both internationals, are part of the refereeing team will direct on Sunday the Senegal – Congo game, counting for qualification for the World Cup 2022.
This appointment from the African Football Confederation (CAF) is a reason for “rejoicing” on the part of the City Hall of Porto Novo, which, through a note, congratulates Lenine Rocha and Aritson Fonseca.
The two join Fabrício Duarte and Hélio Semedo (South Santiago) and form the team which will referee the game.
The game, counting for the sixth and final round of Group H qualifying for the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, takes place at the Lat-Dior stadium in Thies (Senegal).
