The founder of the Tropical Samba School, Luísa Morazzo, was crowned Empress of Carnival by the President of the group, David Leite, during the parade on the night of Monday 21, during which she joined forces with “glow, glamor and emotions”.
With the starting scheduled for 21:00, the parade, which left Praça Dom Luís, only started at 22:00 and lasted about an hour to travel along Lisboa street.
However, it did not disappoint the expectations of those who stayed to “Relive the Past”, made people of Sao Vicente surrender, and “celebrate” not two, but every moment of the parade.
It was precisely on Lisboa Street, “the center of all emotions’ ‘, that Luísa Morazzo descended from her throne to be crowned Empress of Mindelo´s Carnival, an honor that she says she received with “emotion and gratitude”.
