Cabo Verde will move forward “soon” with the provision of online notarial services – Minister

The Minister of Justice Joana Rosa said on Tuesday in the City of Praia that it will move forward “soon” with the provision of online notarial services, which will be “a gain for the system”, she said.

Joana Rosa was speaking to the press on the sidelines of a visit she made this afternoon to the Operational Center for the Information Society (NOSi) where she also chaired and participated in the first start-up meeting of the Justice Information System (SIJ) Project and at the first meeting of the Monitoring Committee for the Implementation of the project.

“We work the notarial services with NOSi, we have several criminal information systems, commercial information, property information and for this reason we have been talking to the President of Board of Directors of NOSi on the need we have to further improve the provision of services due to some slowness which has been registered”, she said.

In this way, the Government is convinced that there is also a need for internal change, in order for more technicians to work with the system and to be able to further operationalise and extend training, not only to technicians but also to operators in registry offices and registrations.
