Cabo Verde Digital held this Tuesday, in the country’s capital, a workshop “Preparing for a VC conversation” aimed at equipping startups and companies with instruments, methodologies and knowledge to navigate in the international Venture Capitals (VCs) ecosystem.
Speaking to the press, the organizer of the Cabo Verde Digital event, Milton Cabral, considered Venture Capitals to be an important financing component for any business, especially in the technological business, which is the fundamental aspect of startup knowledge.
“Cabo Verde Digital has carried out a series of activities with the aim of creating a critical mass and preparing startups to reach investment. Being prepared, it is necessary to know how to navigate to give in to investments, since there are more and more funds for African countries”, he said, emphasizing that Cape Verde, as part of the African continent, must also give in to available funds.
Milton Cabral also highlights that the purpose of Cabo Verde Digital is to ensure that in 2023 the country will have Cape Verdean companies giving in to these funds and leveraging their business.
