Ouagadougou: The activities of the national strategy for the modernization of public administration in Burkina Faso reached an implementation rate of 74.89% in 2024, marking a substantial increase from 31.86% in 2023. This information was obtained during the first ordinary session of the National Council for the Modernization of Administration and Good Governance (CN-MABG).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the session was chaired by Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo, who highlighted the focus on promoting good governance and evaluating the overall performance of the administration in 2024. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of prioritizing digitalization, rationalizing administrative structures, and promoting transparency and accountability across various institutions and ministries.
Prime Minister Ouedraogo urged that these priorities should be translated into concrete actions by 2026. The new national strategy will emphasize effective human resource management, the operationalization of a single virtual counter, and the popularization of a white paper on the values of Burkinabe public service.
