The new Secretary General of the Center region (SGR), Aïssatou Angelina Traoré was installed in her position on Monday by the governor of the Center region, Abdoulaye Bassinga, succeeding Ram Joseph Kafando , current Governor of the Eastern region. As soon as she was installed, the new SGR of the Center, Aïssatou Angelina Traoré, committed to supporting the governor in his mission to improve the process of processing files and supporting the execution of policies at the national level. Ms. Traoré reassured that she is determined to support national reforms aimed at having a positive impact on the Burkinabè populations. 'I take stock of my mission and I reassure you of my commitment, my loyalty and my patriotism to help the governor accomplish his mission,' she added. She also indicated that she will work, in close collaboration with regional directors, as well as the special regional delegation, to implement relevant projects for the benefit of the Burkinabè population. The civil administrator, Aïssata A ngélina Traoré is appointed Secretary General of the Center region in the Council of Ministers on Wednesday July 31, 2024.
