Bodybuilding: Cape Verde arrives today in Spain to compete in the Bodybuilding World Cup

The Cape Verdean bodybuilding team arrives today in Spain, where it participates in the IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness’2022) World Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship, which takes place from November 2nd to 7th in Barcelona.

The Cape Verdean caravan, which on Monday left Praia, with a stop in Portugal, where it held a training session, arrives this Wednesday in Spain, to compete in Santa Susanna, Barcelona, this most important competition at the of the modality.

With a delegation made up of five athletes and a coach, the largest ever in the modality, the Creole team, led by coach Jailton Rocha, will participate in the IFBB World Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship, with athletes Valdir Gomes and Evelino Rodrigues (Santiago Sul), Admilson Gomes and Álvaro Andrade (São Vicente) and António Sousa (Salt).

The captain of the Cape Verdean team, the experienced Evelino Rodrigues, better known in sports as Lino, praised the importance of Cape Verde being able to take a delegation to the World Cup, since he normally participates practically alone in this competition, although he has left his mark with the conquest of individual titles.
