The artist Joaquim Semedo was pleased with the Viagens nas Tintas project, started in the Boa Vista Island, and others carried out, namely, Nos Riqueza exhibition and painting workshop, within the framework of an invitation from the local authority.
The satisfaction was expressed Monday to Inforpress, after the closing of the work carried out during his ten-day stay in the island, in which at the invitation of the City Hall began painting a wall at the Boa Vista High School, within the framework of the Viagens nas Tintas project.
“It was a pleasure to be here in Boa Vista, through this invitation from the City Hall, which had long asked me to bring my work to the island, especially because of the theme on the painting exhibition,” he said.
From the artist’s perspective, the idea is to pass a good message and color the City of Sal Rei which, in his view with the loss of tourism because of the pandemic, is a little sad, so people need to see colors to give them joy, he emphasized.
