The Cabo Verdean international basketball player Joel Almeida is nominated in the category of Best African Athlete at African Talent Awards, whose ceremony takes place on December 21 in Abidjan (Ivory Coast).
“I am very happy to be nominated for the African Talent Awards in the category of Best African Athelta”, reacted in this way to the organization the Creole basketball player, who represents the BC Kutaisi 2010, Super League, top divisiom of the Georgia League.
Joel Almeida was one of the major figures in Cabo Verde men’s senior basketball team, fourth in the 30th edition Afrobasket 1, held in September in Kigali (Rwanda).
African Talent Awards is an event that annually distinguishes the merit of young African talents in the various areas of activities and is already moving towards its fifth edition.
