2025-2026 Administrative Year Commences with Focus on Commitment and Resilience

Ouagadougou: The 2025-2026 administrative year will be marked by commitment and resilience. The 2025-2026 administrative year began this Monday, September 15, 2025, in the educational structures of the commune, marking the effectiveness of the administrative start, placed under the sign of commitment and resilience.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the administrative return represents a time of reunion for teachers, but also a strategic phase of planning and organization. In Djibasso, this tradition has been respected in the majority of schools, from urban centers to functional peripheral areas. In a sometimes difficult context, teachers have shown remarkable resilience.

Some principals have already set dates for the first pedagogical councils and have begun the process of recruiting new students. At the Ourouko school, the presence of a few CM2 pupils testifies to a promising awareness on the part of the pupils. The school’s director, Narcisse Kiemde, has nevertheless sounded the alarm about the deterioration of the infrastructure.

In secondary schools, the mobilization was more timid due to the holding in Nouna of a consultation meeting of provincial education stakeholders. Despite some minor difficulties, those involved in the educational world wished for a peaceful and successful school year.
