Cape Verdean photographer Vadú Rodrigues inaugurated this Wednesday, at the National Assembly, his second exhibition called “PositiveAfrica”, with the aim of “inspire” the public to change the narrative about the African continent.
The exhibition, open to the public until January 7, 2023, takes place as part of the celebrations of the 15th Anniversary of the Special Partnership between Cape Verde and the European Union.
The opening of the event was chaired by the President of the National Assembly, Austelino Correia, and was attended by the European Union Ambassador to Cape Verde, Carla Grijó.
As the artist explained, the photographic exhibition “PositiveAfrica” is a project in which he used photography and storytelling with the aim of “inspire a change of narrative, lead the public to see the African continent as a place of inspiration”.
