Several rural communities in the municipality of Porto Novo, in Santo Antão, deprived of Cabo Verde Television signals a few years ago look forward for Digital Terrestrial Television (TDT) in 2022, according to residents.
Alto Mira, Ribeira Fria and Ribeira da Cruz, Tarrafal de Monte Trigo are some localities considered “shadows” that look forward for Digital Terrestrial Television (TDT) in this year now beginning, just look at the number of complaints of residents.
Idalino Fortes, in Alto Mira, Adilson Gomes, in Ribeira Fria, Maria Lima, in Ribeira da Cruz, and Analides Évora, in Tarrafal de Monte Trigo, are some of the residents who claim TDT for their respective locations, with no signs of TCV for “a few years”.
“We hope that the installation of the signal emitter in Moroços (Planalto Leste), areas such as Ribeira Fria, Alto Mira and Ribeira da Cruz will have TDT,” Community leader Adilson Gomes told Inforpress.
