Residents from different communities insist on the need to improve the circulation conditions in the secondary road in the municipality of Porto Novo, in Santo Antão, which “remains in bad condition”.
Among the roads are the roads which connect Ribeira da Cruz to Chã de Norte and Aldeia do Norte, which, according to the residents, are “practically impassable”, making life difficult for their populations.
The association leader in Chã de Norte, Ivanildo Dias, explains that the road to this area is “urgently” in need of recovery works, warning that the “bad state” of this road is making it difficult to flow agricultural products from this valley.
Similarly, the access road to Ribeira dos Bodes calls for interventions, warned the community spokesman, Henrique da Luz.
