INE trains field agents for the Multi-objective-Continuous Inquiry

This Monday INE started training field agents for the Multi-Objective-Continuous Inquiry (IMC), which consists of collecting, processing, analyzing and demographic data diffusion, socio-economic data from the population and living conditions of families.

As explained by the Vice-President of the National Statistics Institute (INE), Fernando Rocha, who presided over the opening act, this is a statistical operation carried out by sampling, which aims to provide public and private authorities and other users with a set of important indicators.

In this inquiry, which will cost around 15 million escudos, around 9,918 households will be covered, in all municipalities in the country.

He highlighted a great innovation in terms of the inquiry, pointing out as an example in terms of other forms of work, indicators such as professional internships, work not only for third parties, but for own consumption in terms of production, and this module will also include the volunteer work.
