First Lady praises Cenorf’s evolution in providing a better quality of life for people with special needs

The first lady, Débora Carvalho, today praised the evolution of the National Orthopedic Center and Functional Rehabilitation (Cenorf), in its sixteen years of existence, in maintaining the difference in the quality of life of people with special needs or limitations.

This consideration was made by Débora Carvalho at the end of a visit she made today to this orthopedic center, in the City of Praia, within the scope of the “Inclusion Week” she is promoting, having recognized the need for more material resources.

“I’ve been following Cenorf since 2006 for professional reasons and it’s very interesting to see its evolution from 2006 to today, almost sixteen years past, we see a big change in what resources Cenorf has today,” she said.

She added that with this “great” evolution today children born with some malformation can have a quality of life thanks to the Cenorf’s role, which, she considered, needs support, especially procurement of materials.
