The Mayor of Brava announced this Monday that he intends to inaugurate the island’s Interpretation Centre in the week of January 13 to 20, thus coinciding with the celebrations of Republic Week.
Francisco Tavares made this announcement in an interview with Inforpress, stressing that the works on the physical part of the Centre have already started, and that it will be located in the residence destined for the mayors, but which is used to host institutions that bring value to the island.
According to the mayor, this space, in one part, operates the Centrum Sete Sóis Sete Luas already and the other, will be occupied by the Interpretation Centre, whose total budget is around four thousand escudos.
This Centre, he explained that it is a meeting point for those visiting Brava for the first time, where it is possible in this space to have their first contact and idea of what can be found in Brava.
